Breakfast near the cruise port, without the tourist-trap breakfast

Jolly Coffee + Late Breakfast is a small, family-style café in downtown San Miguel — a short walk north of the Punta Langosta pier. Pancakes and waffles made by hand, mostly regional and organic ingredients, and a long list of coffee and natural infusions. We open at 8:00, before most excursions leave, and close at 16:00.

Getting here from your ship

Cozumel has three cruise piers. Tap your pier for live walking directions in Google Maps — the distance and time you see are Google's, measured from the pier gate to our door.

Punta Langosta

The downtown pier, right in the middle of San Miguel. Walk out of the terminal, turn north along the waterfront (Rafael E. Melgar) and you are a few blocks away. No taxi needed.

Muelle Fiscal

The downtown pier next to the main square, used by the Playa del Carmen ferries and sometimes by ship tenders. If you came ashore here, you are already downtown — we are a few blocks north.

International Pier (SSA)

About 4 km (2.5 miles) south of Punta Langosta. The waterfront walk is flat and pleasant if you have the morning, but most guests take a taxi — it is a short, inexpensive ride into downtown.

Puerta Maya

Next door to the International Pier, roughly 5 km (3 miles) south of downtown. Same advice: taxi in, and ask for Calle 6 Norte between Melgar and 5th Avenue.

  • Tell us your all-aboard time. Say it when you sit down and we'll pace the table around it.
  • High-speed wifi. Catch up on messages before you lose signal for the day.
  • Handmade, not reheated. Pancakes, waffles and dishes prepared by hand, with mostly regional and organic ingredients — plus a wide variety of coffee and natural infusions.

Questions cruise guests ask

How far is Jolly from the cruise port?

We are on Calle 6 Nte between Rafael E. Melgar and 5th Avenue, in downtown San Miguel. From Punta Langosta it is a short walk north along the waterfront, and from the Muelle Fiscal — the ferry and tender pier by the main square — it is a few blocks. From the International or Puerta Maya piers, roughly 4–5 km south, take a taxi.

What time do you open and close?

Every day, 8:00 to 16:00.

I came over on the ferry from Playa del Carmen — same thing?

Same thing, and even closer: the ferry docks at the Muelle Fiscal next to the main square, a few blocks from us.

Do I need a reservation?

Not usually, but on a busy port morning it helps. Send us a WhatsApp message with your time and party size and we'll hold a table.

Is there wifi?

Yes — a high-speed connection, which is part of why locals work and study here.

Can you accommodate dietary requests?

Ask us. Guests regularly mention gluten-free plates and oat-milk coffee in their reviews; message us ahead if you want to be sure.
